Our Inaugural Artform Radio x Worldwide FM

We are very excited to announce our new live radio platform, Artform Radio!
Artform Radio is a store front radio excursion, a diverse journey into forward thinking music, culture and ideas. The live show exists every Thursday, at The Artform Studio (Los Angeles), and online via Gilles Peterson’s World Wide FM. Tune in or visit our live broadcast from 12pm to 8pm PST.

Originally from Atlanta, GA, Michael Barnes has worked as a DJ since 1993 at non-commercial/community radio stations around the U.S., including WRAS-Atlanta, WORT-Madison, KALX-Berkeley, KCRW-Santa Monica and KPFK-Los Angeles. Since 2009, Barnes is also the curator of the Melting Pot audio blog (meltingpotblog.com). Additionally, Barnes holds a Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of California, Berkeley and is presently a lecturer in Sociology at CSU-Long Beach. He currently resides in the Los Angeles area.
